Good product choice for colder temperatures

For construction professionals working in winter conditions, illbruck SP350 and PL400 are indispensable. These adhesives offer high strength and flexibility, and thanks to their cold-resistant properties, they can be applied in temperatures down to -15°C. This makes them ideal for outdoor projects even during cold winter months.

  • SP350 Kraft adhesive combines strength with elastic flexibility, making it ideal for environments where movement and vibration can affect joints. At the same time, it is environmentally friendly
and free from harmful chemicals, making it safe for regular use.
  • PL400 Allround Adhesive has a strong initial adhesion and is designed to withstand low temperatures, saving both time and labour. This versatile adhesive can be used for a
variety of materials, from wood to concrete, and is reliable all year round.

As well as being able to be applied in sub-zero temperatures, illbruck's hybrid sealants SP350, PL400 and others, as well as silicones such as SP540, SP519  can be transported in temperatures down to -20°C for up to five days, making logistics easier and more cost-effective for all involved.

"With the SP350 and PL400, we want to offer construction professionals solutions that work just as well in cold climates as in normal conditions. It's important to us that our products are not only sustainable, but also simplify our customers' work and logistics, ’ says Johan Arvidsson, Business Development Manager Windows and Facade at Tremco CPG Sweden.
